PINless Speedialing, DirecDial + EZ Phonebook

How do I set up a DirecDial number so I do not have to enter my PIN whenever I place a call?

  • Log in to your DynaSky eCard account.
  • Go to Phone Card page -> Dialing Setup.
  • Click on the "Change" button.
  • Enter the phone number in the first available field. Do not use parentheses or dashes.
  • Select the option: DirecDial.
  • Click on "Save" then "Confirm" to complete the changes. Your change will now be displayed, and take effect immediately.

Note: DirecDial can be set up on any touch-tone phone, even phones that have caller-ID blocking.  DirecDial is available but not guaranteed for international phone number (outside of U.S. and Canada) setup.

Can I set up DirecDial with phone numbers outside of the U.S. or Canada?

To set up a phone number outside of the U.S. or Canada as DirecDial, please first verify the phone number by making a call using PINDial from the phone you'd like to set up as DirecDial, then go to My Account Usage History. The complete "call from" number that was identified by our system will be the number to be entered in the DirecDial setup field.

How many PINDial and DirecDial numbers can I have?

For each account you can have a total of up to four (4) numbers. So you could have two DirecDial and two PINDial numbers, one each for your home and business; or three DirecDial numbers covering your home, office, and cellular phones, and one PinDial for the road. You decide what works for you.

How do I set up additional PINDial numbers?

  • Log in to your DynaSky eCard account.
  • Go to Phone Card page-> Dialing Setup.
  • Click on the "Change" button.
  • Either enter a 10-digit number, or leave the box blank. (Our system will automatically generate a PIN based on your registered phone number.)
  • Select the option: PINDial.
  • Click on "Save" and your change will take effect immediately.

Can I use DirecDial if I have caller-ID block?

It depends on whether we can receive your caller-ID or not. In some cases, we receive caller-ID even with phones that are set up to have caller-ID block. In some other cases, we can't recognize the caller-ID and will not be able to provide you the DirecDial function. If your phone is set up to have caller-ID block and wish to access our network through our local access numbers, please deactivate caller-ID block by dialing *82 before dialing the local access number.

Note: Some cellular phones may not work with DirecDial and certain cellular phones request dialing different keys to deactivate caller-ID block. Please consult with your cellular phone carrier. Dialing *82 will only temporarily disable the caller-ID block of that particular call. Caller-ID block continues with subsequent phone calls if *82 is not entered.

Why isn't my DirecDial feature working?

Please check if you've set up caller-ID block on your phone line. If so, deactivate the caller-ID block by pressing *82 before dialing DynaSky local access numbers.

Or, please check if your registered DirecDial phone number is through a PBX system. Our network may not be able to recognize the caller-ID through a switchboard.

Please note that DirecDial feature is not guaranteed to work with international (outside of the U.S. and Canada) phone number setup.

Also note that each phone number can only be set up with DirecDial under one DynaSky account. Please make sure your phone number is not set up with DirecDial on another DynaSky phone card account.

  2. Go to Phone Card -> EZ Phonebook.
  3. Click on the "Change" button.
  4. Enter the contact name and destination number in the fields. You can set up to 50 most frequent call destinations with a 2-digit EZ Phonebook code, ranging from 11 to 60.
